Ingredients

  • Chowmein noodles (boiled according to package instructions)
  • 200g diced chicken pieces
  • 1 small carrot, diced
  • ½ cup peas
  • ½ cup cabbage, chopped
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 green chili, chopped
  • 1–2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1–2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chowmein masala
  • Salt, to taste
  • Optional: cheese or chocolate (for a unique twist)

How to Make Quick Chowmein

  1. Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the diced chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, stir-fry the onions until soft and fragrant.
  3. Add carrots, peas, cabbage, and green chili. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
  4. Sprinkle chowmein masala and salt, then add tomato sauce and soy sauce. Mix well to coat the veggies evenly.
  5. Add the boiled chowmein noodles and toss everything together until well combined.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan, mix, and heat through for a minute.
  7. Optional: top with shredded cheese or a small piece of chocolate for a playful, indulgent twist.
